ClassHook and Copyright
How can I use ClassHook videos?
You can use ClassHook videos in lessons, presentations, curriculum, and other materials, as long as you’re not using them for profit. Our videos are hosted on YouTube, and we’re given implicit rights to use them through YouTube’s Content ID system. Using this system, we verify that the copyright owner has permitted videos to be available on YouTube before we add them to ClassHook.
Many copyright owners even upload their own content to YouTube. For example, you can find videos from Disney at their official YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/disneychannel
What is Content ID?
Content ID is YouTube’s system that enables copyright owners to identify YouTube videos that use their content. Copyright owners can set match policies and monetize, restrict, or block videos with their content. You can read more about Content ID at the following link: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2797370?hl=en
